WHAT IS THE GOLF CHALLENGE?

The HYFC Golf Tournament is an annual event which raises funds to serve youth from our community and celebrates the life and legacy of a former YFC employee, Bob Dye.

WHO WAS BOB DYE?

Bob Dye along with his wife, Coral, have left a spiritual legacy through their service at Youth For Christ. In 1970, Bob and Coral moved to Cedar Rapids to be the Executive Director of Eastern Iowa Youth For Christ (now Heartland YFC). Bob started the annual Campus Life Caravan, a 10-day Colorado camping trip for teenagers. Bob and Coral started "Breakfast Club" at Kennedy High School to provide thought-provoking discussion over breakfast. He loved connecting with everyone he met and was genuinely interested in listening and learning their story. Bob loved God and loved people. His lifelong mission was helping teenagers come to know Jesus Christ. In 2013, Bob left this world and joined his Lord and Savior.
