Bob Dye Memorial Golf Challenge

75 years and the Mission Continues

We're on a rescue mission. Iowa teens are in crisis. From suicide to substance abuse, teens are learning to deal with the challenges in their lives however they can. At Heartland Youth for Christ, we are on the front lines with them, sharing and showing them the Gospel. When Gospel principles are applied to the challenges facing youth today, it makes an eternal impact. Studies show there is a reduction in recidivism by 55% when young people are paired with the stability of a loving, caring adult.

Youth For Christ has been walking with teens all over the USA for 75 years, and our mission continues. We have a big, audacious goal to reach 1 Million teens nationally. Our part in that goal, locally, is to reach 4000 youth, annually. To accomplish this mission, we will need 32 staff, 800 volunteers, and 3.6 million dollars. We are excited for the challenge that lies ahead.

You + Golf = Impacted Lives

The Bob Dye Memorial Golf Challenge is an annual fundraiser that provides resources that enable our staff and volunteers to accomplish this mission.

What is the golf "Challenge"?

I'm glad you asked! The challenge isn't just about who can get the lowest golf score; it's about taking the challenge to help raise additional resources to reach 4000 teens in crisis. Like our big, audacious goal, we are asking you to join us on this hero's journey. Together, in Christ, we can be a part of a teen's life transformation. So, will you accept the challenge?

Yes, I accept the challenge to help reach 4000 teens!

Click above to create a fundraising page for yourself and invite your team to join. Each week leading up to the event, we will draw names from the people who have raised a certain amount. The winner of the drawing receives a gift card to a local store. Additionally, each team that collectively raises at least $1200 (including their registration fees) will be entered into a drawing to win a trip to the Grand Geneva Resort in September!

Lastly, if you would rather raise funds by hand, please click here to download our check/cash donations form. This will help us give you credit for the donations you collect.

I love the challenge, but I just want to golf.

No problem! Click the "Register" button above to sign up for our event.
